On behalf of the whole Monarch School community of learners, welcome to our website!

You may already be associated with Monarch, or you may be seeking information as a prospective student, parent, teacher, mental health professional, donor or volunteer. Whatever brings you to our electronic door, we trust that our website will not only inform, but will also inspire you with the transformative power that a Monarch education can provide for individuals with neurological differences.

Why are we here?

We are committed to doing everything in our power to help our kids get the chance they deserve to make signicant contributions to our world. Our students drive our thinking 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and we consider it a privilege to devote our energy to making a pivotal difference in the lives of our students and their families.

What are our guiding principles?

First, we are dedicated to providing an innovative, therapeutic education for individuals with neurological differences.

Second, we are devoted to knowing and serving each child not as a diagnosis, but as a unique individual, who learns, thinks, and experiences the world like no one else.

Third, we are committed to developing individual treatment plans for each student, firmly rooted in our four core goals and following the developmentally sequenced targets of our Levels System.

Fourth, we are faithful in our reflective care of our students, knowing they will need hundreds of practices in the hundreds of skills that they’ve missed along the way.

What do we believe?

We believe everyone can learn. We believe it is our job as educators and mental health professionals to foster JOY in relationships and a love of learning. We believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect. We believe that wisdom is the outcome of a Monarch education.

We have the privilege of discovering gifts and talents and strengths in our students that might have gone unrealized. We have the honor of introducing our students to the world as they really are: competent, strong, smart, tenacious, funny —and the world is often so surprised.
