Learning to Live and Learn
Myra Logan decided that the universe had more to offer when she stopped being a slave to her work and opened her mind to the energy of the universe. Working in the high stress environment of corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, Myra was faced with a life threatening illness. After trying every option, she broke out of her corporate mold to try relaxation and energy therapy.
What she found changed her life and opened up a new world for her. She found that she could relax herself and clear her mind of the ‘chatter’ of life. The more she practiced her new skills, the more she found that she could ‘read’ other people. Her newfound intuition continued to develop and she found that she could heal her own illness while listening to others.
Surprisingly, she found that she also had quite an affinity for animals and felt that she could understand their needs, helping pets and owners gain a better understanding of each other. Her best friend, a veterinarian, helped her learn that her ability to help animals and their owners could become a successful business. Now Myra works with veterinarians, teaches classes to pet owners on understanding their pets, helps trainers teach champion animals and gives back to the community in through many fund raising efforts.
Her talk to the students of the Life Academy provided good reminders that you can learn lots from your pets and other animals.
Be open to the world and the life around you.
Practice patience, with yourself and others.
Use your energy positively to produce a positive environment.
Realize that negative statements not only effect the person that they are aimed towards, but to all of the people, animals, and environment around you.
Use your intuition to ‘listen’ to others.
Myra also learned about the students of The Monarch School by taking the Tuesday tour before class.
Thank you to Myra for opening our minds to other possibilities and reminding us to Listen!
