A Salute to Ken Stueart

Congratulations to Monarch teacher, Ken Stueart, who was recently chosen as runner up in the Greensheet’s Salute to Teachers Contest! Mr. Stueart was nominated by one of his students, Joshua. The following is Joshua’s entry:

“I am a student at Monarch School and my teacher, Mr. Ken, is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He loves to teach art and encourages us to be creative and artistic. He thinks of our art as unique and agrees with me on some of my points of view on art.

I have learned to make clay pots, faster, better looking, stronger and in more shapes than ever before. My teacher makes us feel happy and proud of what we have done. He helps our creativity by making us laugh while we are working. Mr. Ken is fun to be around and enjoys teaching. Mr. Ken tells funny stories, listens, he is kind and gentle and this is why I think he should win.”
