Community Partners Enhance Monarch Employability Program

Monarch's Employability Program supports more than two dozen enthusiastic adults with neurological differences. Their accomplishments resulted in 10 wage earning positions and 17 off campus internships. In all, 26 students participate in campus internships, contributing to the daily operation of the Monarch Institute.

The Monarch School Celebrates Earth Day 2014 with Green Campus
Tour and Unveiling of Living Building Studio Classroom

 
The Monarch School celebrated its 2nd Annual Earth Day Festival at the Monarch Institute for Neurological Differences, John M. O'Quinn Campus on April 22, 2014 and unveiled its new Living Building Studio Classroom. The Studio Classroom is the first project in Texas built to meet the requirements of the Living Building Challenge (LBC). Monarch Students Help Restore Marsh Grass in Galveston Bay Through Galveston Bay Foundation Restoration Program

Students recently planted cord grass in Galveston Bay that they grew at The Monarch School as part of a year-long marsh grass restoration program and interactive environmental education program with Galveston Bay Foundation.
