Robin Rettie, has a B.A. in education (K-8), certified in Early Childhood education (PK-K), and has a Master's Degree in Special Education (EC - Adulthood). Robin holds a State Board for Educator Certification in the State of Texas and has 20 years combined teaching experience in Early Childhood, General Education, and Special Education.

Robin has 40 hours of training in All Kinds of Minds, 8 Neurological Constructs of Learning; completed 64 hours in Mediation and Negotiation Training through the state of Texas; WrightsLaw training; countless hours in training in all areas of disabilities ranging from Autism to Visual Impairment, including social skills and behavior training.

As a Special Education Advocate, Robin continues to actively support families raising a child with special needs in the greater Houston area. Robin serves on the Advisory Board for Attention Deficit Disorder Association – Southern Region and combines her efforts with ADDA –SR to host a monthly parent support group in Cypress, TX area. Additionally, Robin hosts an annual conference and resource fair, Breaking Barriers, supporting all ability levels in the Cypress area.

Robin has been witnessing Monarch evolve through the years and has come to understand she shares a similar vision. She is in awe of not only Monarch’s vision, but the commitment to the students by the staff and community. Robin is honored to be part of Monarch’s progressive and caring team.

In her spare time, Robin enjoys spending time with her family, animals, and freelance writing. She lives in Cypress with her husband, two daughters, 3 dogs, 3 cats, and a frog her husband got for her daughters in 2000! Robin thrives on caring for all creatures and finds comfort in witnessing lives being transformed.
