Alexis Leeper attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology in 2013 and her Masters of Science in Social Work in 2016. Alexis has also received the Trauma Treatment Graduate Certificate and has experience in Trauma-Informed organizations. Alexis moved to Houston, Texas in 2016 in order to pursue new and exciting career opportunities. She has experience working in a variety of settings, including inpatient, residential, intensive outpatient, and now school programs.

Alexis has been passionate about working with children and adolescents since beginning her undergraduate career. More specifically, Alexis has worked with children and adolescents diagnosed with various neurological differences and mental health statuses. However, Alexis utilizes person-in-environment and strengths perspective-based therapies in order to facilitate students’ continual development and personal growth.
