Sarah, M.Ed., LPC-Intern, began her journey to become a Licensed Professional Counselor at Towson University, where she achieved her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. There she participated in their Honors Clinical Specialization program with a group of nine individuals, where they received specialized training in evidence-based case conceptualization and empirically supported treatments methods. Later, she earned her Masters of Education in Counseling from The University of Houston. While obtaining her Master’s Degree Sarah interned to further her knowledge of counseling methodologies and therapeutic techniques.

Following her Bachelor’s degree, Sarah worked at the Itineris Foundation Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland. Itineris is a center for Autism Spectrum Disorders, and it was there that she found her love of working with individuals with neurological differences. She found the young adults that she worked with to be brilliant and wonderful in their own unique way, and had numerous enriching experiences working with this population. At Itineris,

Sarah helped young adults within the Autism Spectrum Disorder complete daily goals including finding and maintaining employment within the community. Under her care, the individuals she worked with made significant progress towards their goals, and she was delighted by every one of their accomplishments!
Sarah has a strong background in counseling and psychology and is currently working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). After discovering The Monarch School and Institute, Sarah instantly became invested in the Monarch mission, and knew that it was an exceptional organization to be a part of. As a new ILP at the Monarch School and Institute, Sarah cherishes the opportunity to help in your children’s growth and development!
