Professional Educator, Butterfly Program
Professional Educators

Michael is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor's degree in Education and English. His wife, Kimberly, and three children -- Elijah, Jacob, and Matthew are the love and joy of his life. Very nearly matched to that is the love he has for working with children.

Michael’s commitment to children has driven him to work for the past six years in a therapeutic school helping students develop toolboxes to help them succeed. Working from a strengths-based approach, he had the opportunity to create multiple bridge programs within the school and community that encourages students to stretch and drive positive change.

He is always looking for something to take apart or put back together, and believes learning should be directed from the heart. For him, there aren’t many things that can beat a good run, a hot cup of coffee, and the sight of a child making discoveries about our wonderful world. Michael feels blessed for the opportunity to work at Monarch, where he will continue creating a culture of community and shaping lives from inside out.
