Samantha Forde is a native Houstonian and only left to attend Texas A&M where she received her B.A. in Communications. She returned to Houston and attended the University of Houston earning her Masters of Educational Psychology in Counseling in 2015, but she considers herself a diehard Aggie. Samantha has always known she wanted to work with students after spending her free time while in college working with younger children at Boys and Girls Club, Special Olympics on campus and being a director of leadership organizations for fellow college students. She realized after working as a school counselor for Neighborhood Centers of Promise Schools that she had a passion for working in the school system to help each student have the best educational opportunities possible. Samantha loves being involved with different non-profit organizations around Houston. She is a member of the young professionals group of Small Steps Nurturing Center, volunteers at the YMCA and in her spare time she enjoys riding her bike around Houston, reading and traveling with friends and family.
