Professional Educators

Taylor graduated from University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in sociology.

During her four years in college, she volunteered her time with various organizations for children and young adults with neurological differences.

She has always had a love for children and her experience volunteering created a deeper love for individuals with special requirements.

She is currently enrolled in an alternative teaching certification program.

Post-graduation she taught for one year in Houston I.S.D. and then worked as a caregiver for the next year and a half to a young boy diagnosed with Down’s and ASD.

Seeing the positive impact she has had on him developmentally, Taylor knew she wanted to extend her influence to a larger audience in a classroom setting.

The mission of Monarch is in perfect alignment with Taylor’s values and she is excited to be a part of the organization.

Taylor enjoys traveling and camping as well as gardening and all things nature.
