Jessie Blakely, B.S.

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
Therapy Services Faculty

Jessie Blakely is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a graduate of Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders. As an undergraduate she worked at Louisiana School for the Deaf where her interest in special needs education was sparked.

Jessie first discovered Monarch when she was asked, by one of Monarch’s employees to come to a tour. She immediately loved the unique educational practices that Monarch structures around every student’s individual needs. Jessie was a frequent volunteer over the course of a year and was excited to be a witness to the exceptional progress and growth that Monarch offers to each of the students.

She is excited to work at Monarch because she knows it will be fulfilling her personal desire to make a difference in children’s lives and looks forward to offering them both challenging and fulfilling interactions. Additionally, Monarch provides a supportive work environment. She has plans to continue her education by earning a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
