Dulce Castelan, B.S.
Professional Educator - Chrysalis Program
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Dulce Castelan graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from the University of Houston-Downtown.
Dulce has always been drawn to work with special populations. Throughout her high school and college years, she volunteered at the Texas Children Hospital and The Children Assessment Center (CAC). Through an internship program, Dulce found The Monarch School and completely fell in love with the Monarch faculty, students, and the whole community.
Dulce is determined to one day further her education and purse her M.Ed. in Special
Populations and continue to impact children’s lives.
In her free time, Dulce likes to read, paint, volunteer, and spend time with her family and friends. Dulce is honored and thrilled to be able part of Monarch School’s vision and values by contributing to a child’s learning process.
