Kristen Vaello, B.S.

Professional Educator, Butterfly Program

Kristen Vaello is from Cypress, Texas. She received her B.S. in psychology with a minor in education in 2014 from the University of Houston. She has her EC-6th grade Generalist ACP certification, and eventually plans to pursue her M.Ed. in School Psychology.

Kristen has always had a love for helping and teaching others which started from watching her own mother impact the lives of others through music education for 36 years. She always knew she wanted to help others, and realized her passion for teaching children with neurological disorders after volunteering with the nonprofit organization, S.E.A.S. Since then, she has been interning and substitute teaching at Monarch since January 2015. She also has prior experience teaching children with ASD and other neurological disorders through her student-teaching at the University of Houston. She looks forward to making a difference one child at a time.

Kristen has one daughter, Skylar, and a Yorkie-poo, Leah. They enjoy spending time outdoors, and love going to the beach to catch some waves. Kristen is thrilled to be working at Monarch alongside so many wonderful professionals, and loves positively impacting the lives of all her students.
