Occupational Therapist

Lacey received her B.S. in Environmental Studies from Texas A&M University and her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University. She worked as an Occupational Therapist at a private, outpatient Sensory Integration based clinic working with children of all ages with various neurological differences. Lacey also has experience as a 7th Grade Science Teacher, prior to completing her master’s degree. Lacey is excited to transition back into a school based role to continue her own personal growth while serving others.

Lacey believes that providing positive and meaningful therapeutic experiences to children can enhance their overall development and functional participation in daily activities. Lacey provided specific intervention for sensory based food aversion, activities of daily living, handwriting, emotional regulation, and social participation. She enjoys building relationships with others and is excited to share her passion for working with children and their families with the Monarch School.
