Lisa Brown received her BS in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and is a certified teacher. She is currently working to complete her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Baylor University.
Lisa has recently retired from the public school system, where her teaching experience centered on working with students from ages 3 to 11 teaching all core academic subjects. She also has experience providing tutoring services and teaching home-based art classes.
Before becoming a teacher Lisa worked as an after school program teacher, and was a substitute teacher at Spring Branch ISD. She has also volunteered at The Children’s Museum, her local church and could often be found at her children’s elementary school. Lisa now wishes to focus her skills on working with children who have disabilities. She currently serves as a Teacher Assistant at Monarch while she attends Baylor to complete her Masters. Lisa looks forward to using her skills and experience to provide meaningful support to Monarch students.
Lisa is married and has two children. In her free time she enjoys reading, playing with her six parrots, camping and hanging out with her family.
