The Transition Services Residential Program is a separate tuition-based program from the Transition Services Day Program. Tuition amounts below are for 12 months from August 1 – July 31.

+ BUTTERFLY TRANSITION SERVICES HOME LIVING (B-HOME) ($41,805)

As a component of the Butterfly program, the Transition Services experience is geared toward the establishment and achievement of Novice, Apprentice and Challenger objectives within a residential setting to develop a realistic young adult repertoire of personal and community competence skills and responsibilities. Psychological and life coaching support is provided through the Therapeutic Coach(TC) schedule of classes, individual meetings and in liaison with families and Monarch Transition Services faculty. Faculty will describe students participating in this component of the Butterfly program as benefitting from round the clock intensive practice and structure in order to develop the set of skills and competences necessary to live apart from their parents or guardians. Transition Services staff collaborate and co-program with the Butterfly Therapeutic Coach (TC) program and its coaches to operate a seven days a week residential practice zone for achievement of predominantly Apprentice level objectives. In some extenuating circumstances, there may be additional fees for additional faculty supports.

+ TRANSITION SERVICES HOME LIVING (TS-HOME) ($36,515)

The Transition Services experience is geared toward the achievement of Apprentice and Challenger objectives within a residential setting to develop a realistic adult repertoire of personal and community competence skills. Psychological and life coaching support is provided through the Therapeutic Coach (TC) schedule of classes, individual meetings and in liaison with families and Monarch Transition Services faculty. Transition Services faculty provide the Therapeutic Coach (TC) program to operate a seven days a week residential practice zone for achievement of Apprentice and Challenger level objectives. Faculty will describe students participating in this component of the program as benefiting from practice living in a small community, with Monarch faculty presence, in order to develop the set of skills necessary to live apart from their parents or guardians.

+ TRANSITION SERVICES APARTMENT LIVING (TS-APT) 2 BEDROOM ($28,695)

The Transition Services apartment experience is geared toward the maintenance of Challenger and Voyager objectives within a group apartment setting to practice a realistic young adult repertoire of personal and community competence skills and responsibilities. The faculty will collaborate and co-program with the Transition Services Therapeutic Coach (TC) to operate a seven-days-a-week residential practice zone for achievement of Challenger and Voyager objectives with the Monarch Four Core Goals™ to help young adults integrate employment, education and community living competence.

+ RESPITE CARE ($130.00 PER NIGHT)

Respite Care is available on an as needed basis through the Transition Services Residential Program for Butterfly and Transition Learners who live in their parent’s homes. The fee schedule is as follows: Overnight care from 5 pm through 9 am will be $130.00. Regarding additional day time Respite Care or hours that fall outside the overnight hours stated above will be upon the discretion of the Monarch staff as not all learners are ready for this level of independent stay. (These fees will be discussed as appropriate).

+ Residential House

4 bedroom house with 3 residents and 1 faculty member; these residents have constant supervision when the day program is not in session

Contract: Runs annually from August 1st-July 31st

Includes faculty coverage every day of the year except for Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving, December 24-26 and December 31-January 1

Guaranteed:
Evening and weekend transportation to Monarch community activities and the grocery store

Weekly house trips to the grocery store

$50/week for groceries and eating out

$40/month for activities (i.e. movies, Dave & Busters, festivals, etc.)

$100 per house per month for household items (cleaning supplies & home maintenance)

Education and support of daily living skills (cooking, laundry, household chores, hygiene, money management)

Morning and evening medication management

House rent

Utilities, water

Weekly Friday socials 4-7

Weekly Saturday activities

Weekly community dinner with residential residents

Monthly joint community dinner (houses & apartments) at house Quarterly TS parties (Halloween, Winter, Valentine’s, End of Year, Prom)

YMCA membership (trips offered 2x weekly)

Weekly reports emailed to parents

NOT Included in Tuition: Eating out for birthday celebration Hygiene products & toiletries Grooming necessities (i.e. haircuts) Medication (prescription or over the counter) Internet and Television service is billed at:$40.00 per month per learner – House

Additional Options: Sponsoring a learner’s birthday dinner at a restaurant with community members or ordering a birthday cake tied to a Friday Social (we can charge this to your account)

+ Residential Apartment

Lives in a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment with another TS learner; faculty is available on-site when the day program is not in session
