Laurie currently leads marketing for the Neurological Institute at Houston Methodist. With more than 20 years of marketing experience she has served and advised some of the most recognized brands across the globe including Girl Scouts, Thirty-One Gifts, Panera Bread, Abercrombie and Fitch, Pier 1, and various athletes and celebrities. 

Prior to joining Houston Methodist, Laurie worked for a Global Healthcare Marketing agency, She is also the former Head of Marketing at Blue Sprig Pediatrics, a national autism therapy services provider. 

With a deep passion for serving others, she has volunteered for and served organizations connected to children, food insecurity, and cancer research. She has served the organizations: Boys and Girls Club of America, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Mid-Ohio Foodbank, and The Ohio State University – James Cancer Center. 

Laurie earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Houston.

Laurie and her husband Paul reside in The Woodlands with their feral (but now family) orange cat, Pennywise. When not enjoying evenings on the patio, they can be found on a pickleball court.
