Let's learn about the DIR Floortime® Model, specifically focusing on the "D" ( the developmental process) and the "I" (a person's individual differences), with Monarch's Department of Occupational Therapy. The DIR Floortime® Model celebrates how each person individually perceives and interacts with the world, and it outlines the critical role social-emotional development has on overall human development starting at birth and continuing throughout the lifespan.

Join us for the Annual EMERGE Special Friends’ Market on February 12 from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM at The Monarch School & Institute. This event is open to the public and showcases the work of adult learners with neurological differences who are meaningfully employed through Monarch’s EMERGE Enterprises.

Our adult learners are employed above minimum wage in supportive, skill-building roles that promote independence, confidence, and professional growth. Events like the Special Friends’ Market directly support their work and help sustain the employment opportunities that make EMERGE strong.

Shoppers will find a wide selection of learner-created items, including EMERGE favorites as well as Valentine’s-themed gifts perfect for celebrating the special people in your life.
