At The Monarch School and Institute, we are dedicated to helping children, teens and young adults with neurological differences and mental health concerns excel at learning and living. Only 83% of Monarch’s operating expenses are covered by tuition and fees, the remaining 17%, approximately $1.1M, is raised from donations received through private foundation requests, corporate partnerships, individual giving and our 'Transforming Lives' Annual Luncheon. Your gift can help us reach our goal and provide the opportunity to continue transforming the lives of the amazing students in our programs.

“I am about to cry as I read this. I often get questions from people about Lauren and which school she attends. I respond by telling them that I have a different child than the one who entered Monarch at five years old. Lauren was a sad, scared little girl who lived very much inside herself when she was five. She knew there were others around her but she could not interact with them, she was so overwhelmed with stimuli she could not learn, she was unable to express or comprehend her emotions… every day was a terrible struggle for her and for us. As a nonprofit organization, The Monarch School and Institute relies heavily on gifts from local foundations that are aligned with our mission and programs. If you can assist us with an introduction to trustees or staff of a potential funder, we would love to meet with you.
Many local corporations are very philanthropic and support charities that are important to their employees. If you have contact with key leaders of any corporation, please let us know and we'll cultivate a relationship that can yield support for the school.
Also, many companies have 'Employee Matching Gift Programs', where they match a contribution made to The Monarch School and Institute. If your company matches donations you make, simply complete their required matching gift form when you make your gift and they will do the rest.
The Legacy Society provides our friends and supporters the opportunity to ensure The Monarch School and Institute will continue to provide innovative, therapeutic education for individuals with neurological differences, long into the future. Individuals and couples may qualify for membership in the Legacy Society by including the Monarch School and Institute in their will, naming the School as a recipient of life insurance, making an outright bequest.
