BreAnne Abatte

Teacher Assistant

BreAnne is from Denver, CO, moving to Houston in 2010 and pursuing her B.A. in education. Her enthusiasm for empowering children’s curious minds and giving them tools to discover the world is her greatest joy and led her during the last five years to being a dedicated stay at home mom while pursuing her degree.

In her free time, BreAnne is a supporter of the arts. She deeply enjoys art installations, museums, exhibitions, and most of all, dance. It is her passion for the arts that pushed her towards creative thinking in education to generate positive experiences for children, and, as a result, BreAnne has spent her course work focusing on behavior in children and safe de-escalation tactics. She is passionate about evidence-based, alternative approaches to assisting children with emotional management as well as providing a safe, structured environment for children to learn and explore.

BreAnne is excited to continue her educational experience in tandem with the team at Monarch and grow with them as she finishes the last classes of her degree. Life is full of opportunities, and she sees the philosophy of Monarch as her greatest opportunity yet.
